Meet Dr. Erica Bailen: Your Trusted Pediatrician at Direct Pediatrics

Dr. Erica Bailen is a board-certified pediatrician who combines conventional pediatric medicine with additional certification and training in functional medicine. She believes parents deserve a physician who truly listens, spends meaningful time with families, stays current on research, and looks beyond symptoms alone to understand the whole child.

Through the Direct Pediatrics model, families have convenient access, longer visits, personalized care, and the ability to build a true relationship with their child’s doctor — without feeling rushed through a traditional healthcare system. Dr. Bailen blends evidence-based medicine with a root-cause, whole-child approach that may include nutrition, lifestyle, behavior, sleep, gut health, inflammation, and advanced testing when appropriate, while still utilizing medications and conventional treatments when needed.

Dr. Bailen attended undergrad at Indiana University, Medical School at University of Louisville, and completed her residency at University of Florida.
